When I got home last night, Rachel and I were talking about the play she will be performing this weekend and such. THen I brought up the Christmas production that she was offered a part in... it seems as if the director assumed that when Rachel did a joint audition for ODD COUPLE and CHristmas Jukebox, that her schedule would not change. THat was almost 2 months ago!  In that time, we have planned a trip to Disney AROUND her school performances and others.  Since there is no way for her to be part of the Christmas productions, I am the Evil witch!   I tried to explain to Rachel that the directors were not being realistic. If she assumed she was in every play she auditoned for, she wouldn't have time to breathe.  Now of course she feels as if she will be mis-cast for all their other productions. Well if that is how they handle this situation, then THEY are the ones that are not professional.  Rachel has had crappy roles and not complained, like others.

I have to go out before work and TRY to find her a proper fitting shirt for this play. THey are MAKING her wear a mans xlarge dress shirt!  She says it looks awful----this is just plain ridiculous. I know what happened... they forgot that they told the kids they were providing the costumes so they hand rachel that! AND I need to find her black sneakers!  As usual 2 days before the show and I am working.

I do have tomorrow to do a complete sweep of the consigment shops if I do not find it in my quick search today.

So between this play and SAT's ---I have been awarded the "bad mom of the week" trophy.
