Doesn't make sense, I know,but as you will see I am a walking contradiction. However, let me try to sum it up: I am the mother of two amazing children,and stepmother to another fantastic one. I am married to a Marine, of whom I am very proud. I am also a former Marine, and though my time in the Corps was short, it has been my life. Our marriage has brought us here to Okinawa, Japan where we will be stationed for another two years. I am trying to enjoy Japan, be a fantastic mom, and advance my yoga practice. Life is always an adventure, and I'm thankful for every second of it. I hope to one day teach yoga and possibly pursue a career in medical massage, helping children who have serious illnesses cope with the trauma of hospitalization. In the meantime, I'm here in Japan soaking up the culture, and praying there are no tsunamis.
