A Conversation I Cannot Believe I Was Even A Part Of...

"So if I get tickets to the Big & Rich concert coming up, would you go with me?"

"3 Things. 1)I don't WANT to go anywhere with you, let alone a concert.

                2)If you have money for concert tickets, why don't you contribute to the support of your daughter since you haven't for the last 2 months?

                3)I don't like Big & Rich."

"Well if not the concert, then how about a dinner date?"

"See #1 & #2 of my last comment.  Why don't you just give me the cash so I can buy groceries for your daughter & myself? I could feed us for probably 3 days on what one dinner would cost."

If he focused his energy on taking care of his daughter instead of trying to get me back, we would all be so much better off!

How frustrating!

Sometimes...do you just feel like you are dealing with another child instead of an adult man?

Perhaps one day he will get a clue that if he took better care of his daughter he may actually be on the path to getting you back. MEN! ! Shesh!

I have felt that way for years! I think that's probably why I stopped after having 1 baby too!
