Happy Birthday Shelby!

She's 12 today (am I THAT old already?!) We are going out for supper with my sister tonight, and then this weekend is her bday party where there will be all kinds of fun. I got her a bike at one store and then at another store she saw another bike she likes for less money. I already had the original one home & hidden, so I gave that to her this morning and told her she could either keep the one I got, or we can take it back, it's up to her. Secretly, I am hoping she decides to return the 1st one and get the 2nd one and that will give me the $ I need to pay for the rest of the stuff for her bday party.

The convention I went to was sooooooooo much fun. I did go to the things I was required to go to, but there was also plenty of time to party. Up til 3 or 3:30 a.m. then had to be at breakfast functions by 7:30.  Sobered up around noon, recovered by 2 or 3 in the afternoon, then started all over again by 4 or 5.  I also cannot confirm or deny any allegations regarding any "itches" that I may have had scratched for me . (Let's just say I'm no longer a member of the "It's Been a Long Time" club - at least for now.) All of that condensed into 3 1/2 days, it's probably a good thing it only happens once a year. Although.....the International convention for the group is in Omaha this year - right in my backyard........

12 ohhhhh its pre-teen time... Congrats on the ummm accomplishment onn the ummm little get away hee hee hee :):)
