Another Manic Monday

I have resorted to getting out the Stupid Gun today. Too many people doing too many stupid things for me to deal with, so they all get shot with a Stupid Bullet from the Stupid Gun.

*pow* You're stupid! **POW** You're stupid too! ***POW!!!*** Hey, you-over there! You're really stupid! Of course since the level of stupidity varies, there is also the Stupid Uzi, the Stupid Cannon, and my personal favorite, the Stupid Tank.

One Stupid Bullet recipient is someone who called in all weekend long due to an EMOTIONAL MELT-DOWN ...

Another wants me to just take her off a weekend shift she's scheduled for even though she's worked her well long enough to know the policy about weekends and wanting off a shift. My official reply was "Per the policy...." but the reply I wrote in my head was slightly different "You stupid bitch! Read the fucking policy and then you tell me if you can be taken off that shift!"

Yet another called me from Long Term Care to ask if she works tomorrow. There is a schedule book down there with everybody's schedules printed out. There are also Daily Assignment sheets that list all the staff scheduled for each shift. I asked if she had looked in the book at the schedule & assignment sheet for tomorrow. "Well, nooooo......"

OH.MY.F#$%ING.GOD. ********POW, POW, POW, POW, POW!!!!***********

It's 1:15pm and it's going to be a definite struggle for me to stay here til 4pm today. If I wasn't already planning a Fuck It day for Wednesday, I would seriously be starting to plan one now. Maybe I'll take tomorrow off too due to an emotional melt-down~!

Don't some people just make you want to shake them until their teeth rattle out of their head? It is like a HUGE percent of the population just have no common sense what so ever.

We have a "moron ray gun" in our car for blasting away stupid drivers. Too many of them out there to count.
