She's a Bit Like Her Mom

The stolen have been reclaimed! Shelby had 3 different girls tell her on Monday that another girl had her stolen shoes in her PE locker.  So she went right up to the girl and told her what they had said, and asked for her shoes back. Of course, the other girl denied having them and wouldn't let Shelby look at her locker. The next class, Shelby had her friend ask the other girl what size shoe she wears. The girl answered 7 1/2, why? The friend reports this back to Shelby who wears 8 1/2.  Again, she went to the girl and told her she wanted to look in the PE locker and at the shoes that were in there. Lo & behold, the size 8 1/2's that were in there didn't fit the girl!  Then the girl got all mad at Shelby for accusing her of taking her shoes and said Thanks alot! to which Shelby replied "You're welcome...anytime."  She then went to the PE teacher that she reported her shoes missing to and told her where she had found them. Then this morning, I called the principal of the school and hopefully the other girl will be reprimanded.

She also told me about her Industrial Tech class where the kids work in groups of 4, 2 boys and 2 girls. Apparently the 2 boys in Shelby's group don't work with the girls, they team up and ignore or torment the girls.  After putting up with this for a while, Shelby & the other girl go to the teacher and tell him what the boys are up to. After talking to both girls and both boys, the boys are "sat out". So then the boys are mad at the girls and one of them says to Shelby, "Well, thanks. Because of you we got in trouble." And in spitfire redhead Shelby fashion, she took a quote directly from me which was directed at her father, and said "Whatever happened to you was because of your own stupidity. Don't blame me for your mistakes."  Wooo-hoooo!!! That's my girl!!!!

Go Shelby! That is so great that she is comfortable standing up for herself at that age. What a great gal!

You go Shelby go.........an ya gives it to them boys who thinks they soooo soooooo cool........glad ya got yer gym shoes back too....glad ya gived them boys a zinger with one of yer mums comments........WAY TO GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!LOL

p.s. thanks for the kind comments in me blog........no it dont make the hurt anyless........me just thinks that it took god alot of damn nerve to take them outta me life at this point.......LOL....me an him will has a talk when me gets there about this oh yes we will
