From the Lioness' Den...

94 degrees in October?!?!

Early last week, we were running furnaces because it was getting down to low 40's at night....this weekend and today, the a/c's been going because of temps in the 90's! Yesterday was a record of 94 and today could be another record. Craziness!

The weekend was great...lots of sun & fun camping, boating, etc....all 4 kids were pretty good for the most part, but there were a couple times when they were lined up sitting in chairs beside the camper with a minimum of 5' of space between them and nobody was allowed to say anything.  They were there for about 1/2 hour each time until all 4 of them could agree that they were done with whatever caused the problem.

Work should slow down a little this week, but since it's a short week for me, maybe not. I'm off Thursday thru Monday since Sis3, Shelby & I are going to Denver for the weekend. We are going to see The Lion King Saturday, Shelby gets to go to work w/bro-in-law Friday morning - he's an assistant DA and Shelby is thinking about becoming an attorney and eventually a judge so he thought it'd be cool to take her to work for 1/2 a day. We also get to go play at their condo in the mountains and of course gotta go shopping.  This will kind of be our holiday get together with them since they are going to be spending the holidays in Idaho this year.

That's about it, better get working on what I need to do for the week! Hope you all have a great Monday....stay cool!!!

Glad ya had a good weekend.... We had shitty weather north of the border... LOL... rain on Saturday, cloudy skies on Sunday.. Its Monday an actually rather nice out.. Not in the 90's or even 80's but........... Hope ya has a good weekend comin up.....Nice long weekend to look forward too.....Keep that in mind if things get crazy OK.....

Sounds like a fun and interesting weekend. I remember the days when we were first getting our kids together.

It is warm here too....though not that warm. The fair is here this week and the weather is near perfect....around 80 every day with chilly nights.
