Continuing My Bitchfest

Dumbass actually showed up and picked Shelby for the afternoon/evening after school yesterday. Plans were for them to go to supper and who knows what else. I gave him til 7 to have her back at A's house. After I dropped her off, I went back to work for a while then ran some errands around town. My phone rang & Shelby was on the other end.

S:  Mom? We're at (really big expensive sporting goods store) and I'm looking at basketball shoes and I found this really cool pair of Adidas that feel really good on my feet and they're only like $99.99. Dad says since you're getting a really big child support  check this week that you can probably just come up and buy them when you get the money. So can I put them on hold til Friday????

Me: I'm sure they are good shoes, but $100 is pretty high for shoes that you're going to wear for about 3 months. I need to look around and find a better deal. The sports shop here in town gives team discounts so we'll look there. Put your father on the phone.

Him: yeah?

Me: What the fuck is wrong with you? What the hell are you doing telling her that I'm gonna come and pay $100 for a pair of shoes that she's gonna wear for 3 months? Just so I'm the Bad Guy when I won't do it. Why are you telling her that I have a big child support check coming? Did you also tell her that it's been 4 weeks since I've gotten any child support? Betcha didn't mention that, did you? If you want her to have those shoes, then you whip out a c-note and buy them today.

Later I was on the phone w/NewGuy bitching & whining and carrying on about all this and he tells me just come to his house for supper, he will cook for me. Do not pass go, do not stop at my house, just come straight to his. So, OK he twisted my arm and talked me into it. I called Shelby and told her to let her dad know he could have her til 8 since now I had supper plans. I also called A and let her know I wouldn't be there at 7 but would be there by 8. No problem she says...take your time.  At 6:40 I got a call from Shelby. "I'm here at A's house, Dad dropped me off" Figures. He knew I was having supper w/NewGuy so he dropped her off early in an attempt to screw things up for me.

It's gotta get better doesn't it? I liked it better when he was just ignoring her. At least I didn't have to deal with the games of putting the kid in the middle and setting me up to be the bad guy. But no, I have to be the mature one and realize that the kid should have some contact with him, 'cuz despite his being a dumbass she loves him since he's her dad. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Why is it MOST X-husbands ( be they dumbasses, or cockmunches ) is all the same??? GRRRR.. Me feels yer pain girly.. Mines after about 14 years of givin me no child support finally started to give his KIDS money so they could buy shoes, clothes, etc... It was better than nothing... AND the only reason he did that was cuz ( god rest her soul ) his saint of a mum was the one who would help me out if me needed clothes, food, etc for her grandchild.. Me was extremely lucky that way... He will learn one day oh yes he will. S will grow up an he will pay. Me is now watching that. Me thinks NewGuy had it right. Get to NewGuy's place.. No passin go, no collecting 200$ OR a dumbasses head on a platter ;);) an me knows that would has put a smile 5 miles wide on yer face.......LOL

Me forgot to tell ya........YES. YES. YES. It will get better... When me got no clue but as time goes on it'll get better... Yer just gonna has to trust me.. Me knows ya hardly kknows me but trust me things will get better.. They may get worse first... BUT they will EVENTUALLY get better.. How do ya know this when yer cockmunch of an X is still givin ya grief?? Regan ( of the headspins when me had to teach her a lesson ) is the proof. Try an remember that... 5 times in one conversation from a girl ( who is soooo like her mum ) who told me she never wanted to have anything to do with me... So, you see RM.. Me is speakin from experience. Hang on to hope an all will end up good.........
