She Needs to Go See the Wizard

because apparently my daughter has lost her damned brain! 

Last night, I went in to say goodnight to her and saw she was messing with her cell phone....and at 10:30 p.m. I know she's not calling anybody.  Rather than get all bent out of shape and blow up about it, I offered to take it and put it on the charger.  Luckily her battery was low so she said yeah, thanks.  Lo and behold, I leave her bedroom and the phone starts vibrating.  A text message! *Wow! Who'd a thunk?* This after I got a big phone bill due to texting and read her the riot act and took her phone for a week.  Then *buzz, buzz* another text!  So I called the home of the boy who was texting her and asked his mom to please tell her son that my daughter no longer has her phone and to please stop texting her.  His mom was thrilled.

Didja catch that??? "the boy who was texting her...."  gggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Text messages - 8 cents each way incoming/outgoing

Ignoring her Mother when told to stop texting - 2 weeks without the phone for a 2nd offense

Being busted texting back & forth with a boy at 10:30 p.m. - painfully expensive, like being grounded beyond 2 weeks without a phone.

Hopefully the Wizard has brains for 12-yr-old girls, and he can leave out the mouthy attitude.

Think that's asking too much??????? Naaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh............

Oh how well I remember those days with my daughter.... I feel for ya!! Keep up the great work staying on top of her though... it'll be worth it! Eliza thanks me now for it! Hugs to you!

We have been thru the same thing with my stepdaughter...for about 2 years now. She has her phone for a month, then has it taken away for 2 months. Over and over again. One would think she would learn.

She's taking Driver's Ed right now.....gets her learner's permit in less than 2 months. And she thinks she is getting a car?!?!?!!? My thing is....if you can't be responsible for a cell phone, how can you handle a car?

Anyhow....you aren't alone.

If the Wizard has a brain with a less mouthy attitude, me knows a 16 year old boy who is despeerate need of a brain. But me gots a feeling the Wizard only gives BRAINS to Scarecrows. As for attitude , me has heard that one of two things works, either duct tape for the mouth or giving them to the gypsies. In which case ya would become a millionaire cuz me is willing to bet the gypies would tell ya they'd give ya a million $$ to take her back.. Me knows they would for me so me is seriously considering it!!!! lol lol teeheehe ;) ;)

Just LOVED the title of this entry.... I laughed at it (out loud even). My kiddos are too early for things like that, although my son has colored all over the kitchen table RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! Kids!

First even if the wizard did give her a brain do you really honestly in yer heart of hearts think she'd use it??? Me is hopin she would but yer right, he may give her the brain but the mouthy attitude?? HAHAHA yer on yer own there...

And Dianeee, yer right!!! Oh yes, KIDZZ can't live with them, can't live without um, and go to jail for murdering um.. Therein lies the answer to give um to the gypies...The gypsies would be willing to pay millions for ya to take um back.. :):) me is kidding so anyone reading this plz don't get upset!!!! Me kids cuz its me way of dealing with the frustration of kids.. They gets worse as they hit 16...Saints preserve us all!!!!!! LMAO
