The 6:00 a.m. alarm that signaled the end of the weekend was especially loud and rude this morning.   I soooooooo didn't want to move. But, move I did because when I am at Leo's, I have to leave by 7:15 a.m. in order to get Shelby to school and myself to work on time.  I didn't have to drop Shelby off this morning though.  The bug she's been fighting the last few days finally won.  Yesterday afternoon she started looking really bad and her cough got lots worse.  Hopefully it's just a bad cold and not case of influenza.  There have been some kids around here die from complications of influenza due to muscle breakdown and organ failure.  That's got me concerned a little bit so I'll be watching close.

Also? I apparently enter a bubble every weekend and lose touch with all reality.  I haven't watched news since Friday, so I had no idea that this weekend's weather could be either thunderstorms and lots of rain or a foot of snow, depending on how things line up.  Note to Mother Nature: I'll take thunderstorms, please. Thanks.

We watched Saw III last night.  Has anyone else watched the Saw movies?  The 3rd was over the top. If you've watched it, you know what I'm talking about. If you're going to watch it, I won't spoil it for you. Just a hint though: Do NOT watch it while you're eating. I saw a commercial last week for a new one coming out in theaters...Number 23 or something like that?  It looks kinda good...

I did not win the Las Vegas trip.  I won a polo shirt from a pediatrician's office.  We had lots of fun that night though - you're never too old to inhale helium from balloons and talk like a munchkin.  When there are about 6 of you doing it, it's even better.

That's it for my update - hope you all have a good Monday.

I hope Shelby isn't getting the flu, I've been sick all weekend myself, with some kind of bug. It sucks.

We've seen all the Saw movies. I thought that II was the best. I agree, III was over the top. I didn't care for it too much. I'm a horror movie gal, but I prefer the suspence and psychological thrillers more than just plain out gore.

Note to Redsmom: Leo probably has the Weather channel at his house, too. :-D

III was pretty gorey (sp?) we watched another movie called Night Listener (i think) with Robin Williams. ITs based on a true story and a must see. It was good.
