Wednesday is Leo's birthday.  He is ho-hum about it, but personally, I like birthdays to be acknowledged. This past weekend, I casually asked him about his work schedule for the upcoming week.  Turns out that he was supposed to work late on Wednesday.  *Damn!* The kids and I want to take him out for supper.  Not to worry, I just called one of his assistant managers and sweet talked him into coming in at 5:00 and finishing the shift.   I bought him a gift card to his favorite outdoor store.  He loves going camping and fishing in the warmer weather and this will come in handy for whatever he wants.  Next weekend we plan on visiting the new store they built in Omaha.....great timing.  We had planned on going there a couple weekends ago and I was wishing that he would hold off til after his birthday....lo and behold, a snowstorm blew in and we had 3 out of 4 kids sick.  Nobody was goin' anywhere!  He had to work last weekend, so that wasn't a problem.  So now, it works out to go next weekend.  God works in mysterious ways....  Now, I just have to let his kids know that we are definitely set for Wednesday.  They did a pretty good job keeping things hush-hush during Christmas, so this should be easy for them. 

Another reason I'm doing this besides it being his birthday, is because on Thursday he has court for that which I can't blog about til Friday.......but stay tuned.  Remember when I posted this and said remind me to come back?  Well, it's almost time. Then I will tell you a huge story that will blow you away.

Oh yer a snekay one!! Naughtie too but ah well. Two great character traits in one woman for one man?? He should thank his lucky stars LOL ;) ;)
