Dreamin' again

9:06 AM, Mar. 15, 2007 .. Posted in Purrrrr .. 5 comments .. Link

Last night I dreamed mainly about my ordinary daily life, with one exception.  Everywhere I went, there was this snake that I saw. Sometimes it was curled up asleep, sometimes it was moving, sometimes it was just looking at me, and the last time I saw it, it was in the alley that borders my yard and it started slithering right at me with its big teeth bared. This made me wonder what the symbolism was so I looked it up. Here is what I found...

"In modern dream interpretation, snakes are viewed as symbols of change - in addition to being representative of sexual energy and “the vital force.” Snakes are viewed as symbols of change because they shed their skins. Continuing on this theme, snakes also are seen as symbols of metamorphosis and transition - including life and death - because they shed the old and put on the new.

The central theme of your dream is transformation. Your dream suggests that a period of growth and change - represented by the snakes - is upon you. It is natural to fear and resist change initially - as represented by your running from the snakes - but it also is important to recognize change as a natural, everyday part of living. The arrival of snakes in our dreams are signs that we need to prepare ourselves mentally and emotionally for a new period of growth and development. " ---found on Dream Doctor.com

I'd say that pretty much fits what's going on with me right now with school starting next week.  That's reassuring. I thought it would turn out to be something bad. Guess not!

Interesting. I always have dreams about my teeth falling out. I did know what it meant but can't remember.

That is interesting. I hardly ever remember my dreams. Perhaps three times a year and even then I don't remember it right away. It will be later in the day and something will trigger a memory of the dream.

And yes, I'd say that the dream interpetation is right on track for your life right now.

I remember how nervous I was when I went back to school. But, within a few weeks, it was all routine. You are going to do great!!

Glad yer dream had a good meaning. Me is always terrified to find out what mine's mean so me never bother to look it up. Besides with the luck me has it would end up meaning death or something equally as horrifying{sp} to me so me figures leave the unknown just that , the unknown.

But hot damn, good luck Monday and don't forget to exercise girl.. Me will do email butt kicking an blog commenting kicking if necessary
