Dodged a Big BulletThe car situation is not as grim as I was thinking yesterday. Rather than a transmssion, or clutch, or something along those lines, which would have cost big buck$ to fix, it was a drive shaft off the axle for the passenger front tire. So I'm told. Still means nothing to me...except Leo did say he was glad it shattered in a parking lot rather than while I was going down a highway at 65mph or the interstate at 80. That would not have been pretty. So there's the silver lining in my gray cloud. Parts & labor to fix will be about $150 and I could have it back as soon as tomorrow, if the part that's in stock is the one I need. If they have to order one, then it'll be a couple days longer. So, Yaaaaaaaayyyyy no major car repair expense this time. But, since my car has 130,000+ miles on it, it's bound to happen a lot more frequently.
