Free Scams really piss me off!

I've recently seen and on tv about a website https://www.freetriplescore.com that provides free credit scores form all 3 bureaus so I thought I'd check it out since most place charge to view your credit score. I check it out and not surprisingly its what I consider to be a scam. It really isn't free. Its a 7 day trial which requires your to use a credit card to sign up. You are charged a $1 and then refunded it if you cancel within the 7 days, but if you don't your credit card is charged nearly $30 every month. How is this free? Free is free not sort of free or pay it first and we'll refund you if you cancel withing a very short time free.
